What’s In My Bullet Journal – December Monthly Layout
Its December which means its CHRISTMAS time. For me that means everything gets to be Christmas themed and no one gets to complain 😉
For my calendar, I wanted to do something different. So I went for a 5 day weekday calendar instead of a traditional 7 day one. On the bottom of the page, I listed all of the weekend dates and gave them each a space for events or to do’s. I typically find that my weekdays are busier and my weekends tend to be more chill. For that reason, I wanted to give my weekdays more room to write things down.
On the right page, I wanted to include a Christmas Savings tracker. I have seen a few of these from other bloggers, one of my faves being this one from the Renee at The DIY Day. Other trackers I have seen have used ornaments, presents, Christmas lights, etc. However I haven’t seen one so far with a candy cane so I decided to use that for my tracker. The point behind these is, you set a goal for an amount of money you want to save for Christmas. Once you have reached that goal, you fill in a space on your tracker. I have saved my certain amount twice, so I filled in two spaces on my candy cane ☺
For other small little details and embellishments, I added some stars (or we can call them snowflakes ❄). I did this using some silver metallic embossing powder. On my weekend section, I decided to add some candy cane striping detail using my Tombow Dual Brush pen. I thought this would give it some cute flair as well as tie together the two pages.
I had a lot of fun coming up with this layout because hello, Christmas! Bullet Journals are SO much fun because you can totally customize them yourself and thats why I love using mine. You can see some of my past bullet journal layouts here and here. P.S, I am two days strong on blogmas, so lets hope I can keep it up! I hope y’all have been enjoying my posts, let me know what you want to see more of!
